The Knuth Family grew in the Augusta Wisconsin, in the town of Bridgecreek, Fall Creek Wisconsin areas near Bears Grass in the Township of Lincoln. The homestead is in the town of Bridgecreek, in Eau Claire Wisconsin.  Nearby to Fairchild Wisconsin, Wilson Wisconsin, Ludington Wisconsin. 

 Logging was an important industry during the growth of the family and Courderay Wisconsin provide ample opportunity for the Knuth family and friends to find employment.  Coudray is a Sawyer County community in Northern Wi and had a busy train station and high school needed to educate the children of logger families
